ARM@CORE - All Dielectric

Terminate the rat battle with heavy armour. Our all-dielectric ARM@CORE fibre optic cables are fully protected against ruthless Australian rodents. Despite the solid hardware these loose tube cables are still surprisingly lightweight, flexible and easy to handle. The Prysmian ARM@CORE cable uses glass reinforced plastic (GRP) rods to fully armour the cable and offer the robust protection needed to block rodents and polyamide provides anti-termite protection. Furthermore, the cable uses SM@RTCORE reduced diameter technology and offers a rodent proof cable that is not much larger than a standard loose tube cable. This means that flexibility and ease of installation is maintained. Balance Master

Prymian’s Balance Master cables are especially designed to be compatible with Rapid Earth Fault Current Limiters (REFCL – GFN Type) and are approved for use in Victoria. Central Tube

This Loose tube dielectric optical cable is designed for external underground installations in ducts by pulling, jetting or floating techniques or by direct burial in open-cut trenches. The cable is designed for installation in areas where mechanical impact is expected. Two types of sheaths can be provided with the Central Loosetube Optical Cable: – UV stabilised Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LS0H), flame retardant compound in compliance with AS 1049. – UV stabilised Polyethylene (PE) with Nylon jacket for enhanced termite resistance - in compliance with AS 1049. CLICK-FIT®

The CLICK-FIT® plug-in concept is a unique system designed to connect high and extra-high-voltage extruded power cables for 72 kV up to 420 kV. Important features are high reliability combined with fast, easy and man-independent installation techniques that lead to a reduction in project realization time and cost. Following the principle of the CLICK-FIT® concept, the ends of the cables are prepared and provided with plugs. The uniform plug design enables the installation of joints and terminations simply by plugging-in the prepared cable end.

Compact Multi-function Joint (CMJ)

Compact Multi-function Joints (CMJ) are for jointing of optical fibre cables up to 144 fibres. Our new range of joints is designed to integrate state of the art features into very cost effective products. These optical fibre cable jointers not only save you money, but are also designed to eliminate heat shrink thus no need for a heat source in the field during installation.
